High School “28. juni” Istočno Novo Sarajevo and “High Grammar School and High Vocational School” Istočna Ilidža are situated in the same facility.
It was built in 1968 and initially it served as barracks for the needs of the military, and in 1995 the facility was reconstructed and adapted for the needs of the aforesaid schools.
The facility is of a permanent type, solid construction with the number of floors GF+2 covering net floor area of 4,173.00 m2.
The total number of users on annual level is 572.
Before implementation of energy efficient measures, average indoor temperature in the facility was around 17°C, whereas after performed retrofits, indoor temperature has reached the projected 20°C.
The following energy efficiency measures have been implemented within the facility of High School “28. juni” in Istočno Novo Sarajevo:

- heating system retrofitting (installation of thermostatic valves, heat pumps and other)
